Case Study - Equipment Finance
Our client an engineering company in the midlands wanted to expand their business by taking on new contracts but required additional equipment to service the new contracts.
In total the finance package required was £180,000. Their bank had already refused the extra funding due to a previous history of overdraft problems and an unwillingness of our client to use additional personal security.
The key to funding this deal was in how it was structured and presented to lenders. The total deal was broken down into a number of component parts and the risk was spread across a variety of specialist lenders. Additionally we supported our client with the presentation of their business plan and financial projections.
The key benefit to the client was that they were able to expand their business in spite of being rejected initially by his bank with deal structure and risk spreading the key to success.
Our knowledge enables us to regularly arrange asset finance in unusual circumstances, where perhaps the applicant has been refused elsewhere. All asset finance cases are supported by professionally prepared applications by our in house specialists, thereby significantly enhancing chances of securing the optimum financial package. Unlike some of our competitors, we do not believe in up front charges. In most cases we are remunerated through commissions from lenders, and therefore do not need to charge fees to clients.
