Case Study - Commercial Mortgage and Asset Finance
Our Client began discussing their options with VFS in December 2006. The Company had a full order book and fully utilizing their existing Trumpf Laser. Space at their rented premises on was at a premium and whilst the company Director was delighted having added a new Trumpf Press brake to his capabilities, he was apprehensive as to how he could further expand the business.
Working at full capacity, our Client realized they were reliant on one laser and any downtime on that machine made them vulnerable. They were also acutely aware that the new equipment and increased workload meant they had run out of space with no room for more expansion.
Working through a review of existing orders, funding arrangements and capacity there was a clear rationale for purchasing a new Trumpf Trulaser 5040 Lasercutting 6KW machine, particularly with its increased work range and load and unload capability. This state of the art aquisition would provide the manufacturing capacity to meet the current and predicted future demand.
Where to put it appeared a bigger problem, but a closer scrutiny of rent and rates being paid gave a good indication as to what was affordable. Our client opted for a new design and build premises nearby, compromising nearly 15,000 sq ft.
VFS helped obtain funding for both the new premises and laser from Barclays Bank plc and a new chapter in this vibrant hard working engineering company began.
